Gemstar Car Detailing was founded in 2021 by Justin Finch and Kayden Hofler — two automotive enthusiasts who saw a gap in Idaho's detailing market. Most shops deliver inconsistent results with no accountability. We set out to change that with a fully mobile, premium-quality operation that brings the shop to your door.
Why We Started Gemstar
After years of working in the detailing industry, we noticed the same problems everywhere — inconsistent quality, vague pricing, and the inconvenience of dropping your car off at a shop and waiting.
We built Gemstar to solve all three. Our mobile unit is fully self-contained with water, power, and professional-grade products. You get transparent pricing upfront, and every job ends with a post-service inspection to make sure you're completely satisfied.
Since 2021, we've expanded from basic detailing to offering ceramic coating, paint correction, paint protection film, window tinting, and specialty services. We serve the entire Treasure Valley — from Nampa to Boise, Meridian to Eagle — and we're not slowing down.

Justin Finch co-founded Gemstar Car Detailing Nampa with over 15 years of hands-on experience in professional auto detailing. He specializes in ceramic coating application and paint correction, and oversees all premium service delivery across the Treasure Valley.
